There was a trend a year or so ago on BlueSky where we posted “photographs” of our characters. I chose to include Jonny and Gretchen from Jonny Crossbones, Dwight from the Shit Kids, and Salty and Hash from Rabbit Hash.

the Gentleman Family
I read through Astro City by Kurt Busiek, Brent Anderson, and Alex Ross this last summer, via the new Metrobook collections, and had the idea of drawing the Gentleman and his retinue in a sort of CC Beck Style. I recorded a timelapse video of my process!
