Like six months or a year ago or something I drew a Dr. McNinja story. It’s being posted now! You could go look at it over here.
Also, I should mention that I was assisted on this one by Matt Grigsby, who did a whole bunch of layout and ink work.

Leslie and Friends

So I was thinking last night about what it would be like if I was a cartoon character. This is what I came up with. I would have a girlfriend who looked just like me, but with a bow on her head and a dress. I assume her name is also Leslie. I would also have three identical nephews, who are named Lance, Lars, and Lysander.
We would all always wear little white gloves, but no one would ever talk about it.
I have been reading a lot of Donald Duck comics.

Sorry for how slow the updates are going! I am here to tell you why that might be. The easiest way is to direct your attention toward this link: http://derekkirkkim.livejournal.com/53021.html .
I’ve been working on this since January, and it looks like it’ll be starting to appear online shortly– I’ll let you know when that happens. I am going to mention it here when a new page is up.
I’ve also been working like crazy on a mess of Marvel movie figures over at Hasbro and it looks like I’ll be doing two new double-sized Tick specials in the next few months. Remember to stop in to your local comic shop forFree Comic Book Day, where you can pick up a free Tick comic with a new 8-page story by me and Benito!
Anyone who I still owe a drawing to, you’ll be getting a full refund on those in the next month or two. I’m very sorry about that, but I got so behind I just don’t think I’ll ever catch up. I’ll start taking commissions again a little after that, but with a much more transparent system. Sorry again.
Anyway, it’s real nice to be in demand, but I do miss working on this little skeleton guy. I’m still hoping I can get this done by the end of 2011. Then I’ll probably do a different personal project, then I think more Jonny. I’ve already got his second adventure plotted out.
