an aside
I wrote this on a message board just now, but I thought I’d share it with a wider audience.
I would like to take a moment to mention that I despise my downstairs neighbors with the burning passion of a thousand suns. I have stamped on the floor; I have complained to the apartment manager; I have called the police. They do not modify their behavior. They continue to deny me peace or sleep. They may quite possibly be the devil.
I hate them so much.
